Overall, London is an amazing city. Having been in Cardiff for the weekend, I missed the hustle and bustle of London. I missed being surrounded by so many people, museums and things to do. In London, just walking to class is exciting because I pass spectacular monuments and tourist traps. For instance, on Wednesday we had history class in South Kensington. We walked around and saw the Natural History Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Science Museum, The Royal Albert Hall, and the site of the Great Exhibition all within 3 blocks. Furthermore, my other classes are also busy and out in London. My art class will be in the print room in the British Museum today looking at things most people cannot, my polysci class will go to the Imperial War Museum next week, I am going to Cambridge tomorrow for neuroscience, Bristol next week with the econ class, and three plays next week.
In a few weeks we will begin our Irish literature course and have lots of time on our hands. Thus, Meredith, Sara, Eleanor and I are working on planning what museums we will go to as we want to go to at least one a day. So far, this is our list:
