Lights!

Yesterday, after class I took a much needed nap. Kate woke me up at 5:20, made me dinner, and then we went to Oxford Circus to see them turn on the lights. We got there late since I was sleeping but luckily I was the only one who wanted to see Jessie J perform so I was the only sad one when we only saw her perform for 5 minutes. Oh well. The lights were really pretty lit up and make everything seem more festive.

Afterwards, we went to a pub called The Phoenix. One of the GIL students is doing an internship and this event is part of the company she works for. "Liars' League is a themed monthly fiction night, where professional actors (from our company of around 100) read new short stories by writers from around the world. Events are held at The Phoenix pub in Cavendish Square, Central London." There were five short stories read and they were entertaining and funny spy like stories.
